2010 JConcepts SuperCup, Round 2 - Electric RC Racing Series

Round 2 of the Fall Session brings the SuperCup Championship Series back to the famed Lake Park RC track in Lutz Florida just outside Tampa. The Hurricane RC Club crew prepped the track for this event and even with the threat of rain all week, they had the track in top condition.




Still worrying about possible rain showers on race day kept the racing on a steady pace. However the sun was shining with partly cloudy skies all throughout the day allowing a slight groove to form by the main events. Two qualifiers and the mains were in the books by late afternoon and the series had another successful event.

Next stop for the series will be in Coral Springs Florida on October 16th.

Just got back from Lake Park running my Blitz ESE for the first time and discovered that I need better tires because I had NO traction what so ever. I'm running the stock blitz maxxis tires and they weren't hooking up at all.

So I figured I'd ask the experts at JConcepts what they recommend at this track.

hreat video, seeing that sc truck crash due to an over powered wheelie, reminds me of my t4 :D looks not half as damaging with that larger bodyshell protecting chassis :S
