Associated Gastroenterology Medical Group is the largest Gastroenterology medical group in Orange County. Dr. Dennis Riff founded the group in 1976. Dr Steven Duckor and Dr Michael DeMicco joined him the next year and have been practicing together since 1977. Presently, there are a total of six doctors working in the group. These include Drs. Riff, Duckor, DeMicco, Amer Reyyes, Kevin Kuettel and Peter J. Winkle.

AGMG has offices in Anaheim and in Orange, California . We are affiliated with AGMG Endoscopy Center, which is a state of the art facility with AAAHC accreditation and Medicare certification. The endoscopy center is equipped with the newest and finest endoscopic equipment and is staffed with an experienced nursing team. It is one of the few centers in the nation to have an anesthesiologist available full time. This allows us to offer Propofol deep sedation (which can only be delivered by an Anesthesiologist) and it provides the ultimate in patient comfort and safety.

All of our physicians have extensive knowledge and experience in gastroenterology and liver diseases. Our commitment to research gives our patients the benefit of being able to frequently experience the therapies of tomorrow as well as the best medicine and practice of the present.

The doctors of AGMG serve as both Gastroenterology consultants and, frequently, as primary care doctors as we are well skilled in the practice of internal medicine.

AGMG Clinical Research as well as the associated Advanced Clinical Research Institute (ACRI) are affiliates of the medical group. Clinical research is done in all fields of medicine. AGMG physicians have worked on projects with most of the pharmaceutical companies in the United States and abroad and are consulted almost weekly on the development of new treatments in the field of Gastroenterology and Liver disease. We consider our research capabilities as a way of offering frequently cutting edge therapy to our patients at no cost.

AGMG is a participating provider for Medicare and most PPO insurances as well as an extensive variety of HMO insurances in Orange County.

Our physicians are on staff at the following hospitals: Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, St. Jude Hospital, Placentia Linda Hospital, Chapman Medical Center, West Anaheim Medical Center, Western Medical Center A Anaheim and Santa Ana, and Tustin Hospital. Several of our physicians also hold appointments on the clinical faculty at the University of California Irvine Medical School.

  • @nicoleotina yes but WE are monitored UNLIKE MJ..don't be afraid, this propfol is great stuff in the right hands. also MJ had a huge tolerance to these type of drugs/

  • @dam2702 so sorry for you :-( come to the USA I heard this from another person on youtube about no sedation in the UK...sadists and cheap asses!!! way to scare your ppl to death so they don't have these life saving procedures!!

  • @Bloodprincess520 hope all went well??

  • im 16 and i had this done; i almost died :/ the stupid doctor didnt wait for the anesthetic to sink in. it lasted for an hour. I was traumatized i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy quite frankly

  • i'm doing a colonoscopy tomorrow. I dont know why im scaring myself even more by watching this video.

  • I had while completely unconscious and woke up about 2 hrs later. I don't remember a thing and had no sensation of any kind. The doctor showed me the video and said "see you in ten years." No big deal.

  • @jlh945 There are two ways to stuff a mattress and this one way I refuse. It's not good to crap yourself silly for the preparation. My mother had one and they damaged her insides. I don't trust doctors either. They're politicians with a mask on.

  • had my procedure done in the uk and only light sedation was given and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life

  • Thanks... This makes me feel a whole lot better. Still kinda scared but this definitely helped. I am very afraid of that Propofol tho.
