My stereo consists of Simon Yorke S5 record player with S7 tonearm, Grado The Reference cartridge, Art Audio VP1 preamplifier/phonostage, Art Audio Diavolo stereo power amplifier and Cabasse Farella 401 speakers with Stands Unique rack and Kimber cable and Russ Andrews mains cables and passive filtration. The record is stereo with the great Yehudi Menuhin playing violin with Wilhelm Kempff on the piano Deutsche Grammophon UCJG-9018. Recorded in June 1970 at the Kingsway Hall in London with engineer Hans-Joachim Reiser, producer Dr Wilfried Daenicke and artistic supervisor Dr Manfred Richter. One of the most lively sounding records I have both in sound and performance.

  • I understand what you say, though I do enjoy listening to it very much all the same.

  • Thankyou very much.

  • Appologies for the sound quality of the recording. I intend doing another recording using a stereo microphone and improved soundcard.
