And I will state that if employers had to pay for college, they would then have to seriously rethink whether they need college or not for a given job. Because let me tell you right now, most entry level jobs require no more than an 8th grade level education. You should NEVER have to invest in a job. An employer gets all the profits, he/she should take the risks on investment. There's little sense in investing 100K for a job when you could use that same money to start your own company. . .

I dont understand some ppl's comments.. Are they saying that only those who can afford university should be allowed to go? If so, what would become of all the engineers, businessmen, computer programmers, scientists, etc. who would be unable to achieve what they are capable of but could not because they don't have the 100k for 4+ years in university?

Life is a journey, we all have to decide what path to go down... no two journey's are the same. Some times finding those real life lessons are where you least expect them.... how much do they cost?

I'm around 28,000 and growing... Grad School is a mixed blessing. Schools paid for via scholarships, living isn't. And it isn't cheap to live in downtown Toronto...
