@30percentplusreturns No my friend, while our beloved country has "progressivly" become more immoral and violent being influenced by the sleaze emmanating from hollywood, it's the increasingly corrupt and primarily democrat politicians who have lost their moral compass, and respect for our constitution (ie; Frank, Pelosi, and Dodd, among others) that are selling the rest of us out. Those of us decent "true" Americans left can only do what we can to leave something worth haveing to our children.

I am attempting to make the smartest move possible at this point in my life.
45,000 in debt. Barclay's bank through Juniper credit card is charging me 25% interest & they refuse to bring down the interest rate. If the government is going bankrupt does my good credit have any value? My son is being evaluated for college grants, If I claim bankruptcy will that interfere with him obtaining grants & scholarships?

Marc Faber is right that the Standard of living will not be as great the USA will go down slightly from where it was back in 2006!
However I believe that with Boner in 2012 we will have our economic, society colapse sometime around 2020!
Becasue of the follwoing reasons with the Boner!
1. No More Social Security
2. Wars and maybe 2 more Iran N. Korea
3. No more Mediacare and Medicaid
4. Unfunded tax cuts and maybe even expanded on

My country, the united states, makes me sick. These bankers looted all the banks and then leave a shell. Then they come to the taxpayer for a bailout because there are no reserves. The reserves went to their 50 million dollar bonuses. Pathetic. They just have to go to barney frank, dodd, and pelosi for more bailout money. This country is a godam disgrace.
