Is the link between dolphins and humans as profound as some may believe, or is it just a natural mamallian instinct to protect others like it? The extraordinary benefits of dolphin hearing are explained here in this amazing wildlife film from BBC Worldwide.

  • To those who are commenting on the Japanese killing dolphins ~ It's not just one culture killing one species. People in general want to eat anything that moves. Learn about factory farming, and you can imagine what certain cultures would say about the animal "food" industry in the U.S. As for the oceans, we are bleeding them dry. Bluefin tuna, and many others, are on the verge of extinction. Watch the film The End of the Line. Very informative!

  • I love dolphins so much. The Japanese have an annual Dolphin Hunt in which they catch them and kill them by cutting their heads off with machetes while the dolphins are alive. I can't imagine how anyone could be so barbaric.

  • @RuniChannel1 And then again some people are just stupid. Amazing animals, dolphins are.

  • 100 million sharks are killed each year to cut off the fins and then thrown alive into the sea to die suffocation and bled. videos of this type, where the Sharks faced absurdly charismatic species like the dolphin, do not help the species. I have nothing against the Dolphins, they too are slaughtered in Taiji each year to meet Japanese aquariums and meat markets. sharks do not eat humans, we are not part of their diet and dolphins do not need to save us, we humans who must save both species.

  • @soulflower1970

that's funny, before i read the comment section, i was thinking :Fucking Japs, Fucking dolphin killers" thanks for the moment of clarity!

  • I wasn't listening, then I heard "Penetrating it's prey" and burst out laughing.

  • Wow, Dolphins can make their own toys, and play their own games. I love dolphins.

  • @soulflower1970 but dolphins save humans!

  • I wish I was 50% human and 50% dolphin.

  • Alternatively, they might just want to have sex with humans ...

  • Wow, I love BBC's re-enactments, very realistic!
