Iron Man Extremis Armor

The Extremis armor is the most advanced to date, with ablity to store the undershell in Tony's bones, and to disassemble and form around near instantly. The Extremis super-soldier serum was created by Tony's longtime friend, Maya Hansen, and was leaked by Maya to show it's destructive potential. Mallen was given the "virus" and survived. he later went on a killing spree, now endowed with short spikes in his fingertips, flame breathing, super strength, and a healing factor. Maya called Tony and feigned distress at Mallen's murdering spree. Iron man fought the super-powered Mallen, but was beaten quickly. Tony was left with fatal injuries and only Maya was the only one who could help him. he revealed his identity to Maya, and tinkered with Extremis. He was injected and exited the cocoon that formed around him 2/3 days early. Tony was truly an Iron Man. He could link to any computer, see through satellite cameras, make a phone call without saying a word out loud, and could control his armors functions without even wearing the armor. Tony killed Mallen when he fought him next. Tony later lost Extremis's abilities when a Skrull replacing Edwin Jarvis infected Tony's technology with a disabling virus. After former Green Goblin, Norman Osborn, killed the Skrull queen, he became director of HAMMER, which used to be SHIELD, and Tony became a fugitive.

@cybrog9 Extremis was awesome because it was powerful, yet flawed. The Bleeding Edge is now completely stored inside of Tony's bones, is thinner than all of the previous incarnations (yet still bulkier), and can alter it's form to whatever Tony wishes, be it a weapon, shield, you name it. The Bleeding Edge instantaneously covers Tony's body, can fight off viruses (biological or not), repair itself instantly, be remotely controlled, and remotely control any previous Iron Man armor within range.

I can't argue about the design either. But aside from that does pertain some of the same qualities of Extremis? I mean from what it sounds like it's overpowered, but why?

@cybrog9 Well, it's technically an upgrade from Extremis, but it's just stupid looking, and unrealistically powerful. The Iron Man comics kinda jumped the shark.

Kinda a bummer about him loosing Extremis, recently purchased that volume and everything. Question does his current armor, bleeding edge I believe? does it possess similar attributes to extremis or Tony's stuck with that permanent downgrade?
