This video really should be called "Turn your lights off - you're ruining my view of the night sky!" and is my contribution to the crusade against light pollution. I imagine that Everlast had something different in mind when they wrote the song but seriously folks, we are gluttons for bright lights and there are many cities where you can't even see stars at night.

Awesome vid (and great riffing)... I think I can see my town from space! Most folks don't know what we've lost in our night sky... not to mention the millions of dollars wasted, the wildlife it destroys, and the elevated stress light pollution causes....let's remove these unwanted artificial constellations!

Many thank-you's. I completely agree, and the part that's discouraging for me is how accepted it is to light everything up into perpetual daytime. In Vancouver for the olympics they're going to have a couple of dozen automated searchlights operating 24/7. Our species will lose its night vision eventually.
