@hamtrak The 79-93 had multiple changes. 79-82 was the first style, 83-84 they revised the front end and put an air dam on the GT's, 85-86 more front end revision and minor things, 87-93 had the new Aero nose blunt front end.
as for the 94-04's, the 94-98 had a round look and featured the 5.0 which was swapped in 96 for the 4.6, 99-04 had the new edge design.
05-?? Mustangs are going through the same thing. 05-09 first edition retro styling, 10-?? redesign for a fresh look.

All I ever wanted is an 05 GT. It burns me up to see dumb blondes in my school receiving 300hp+ cars from daddy for their birthdays. They always crash them somehow. And don't respect or appreciate their cars. It's not fair
