why a dumpvalve it dont give the g40 anny more resonse on the gas
the best you can do the reverse of your g40 put is lose

The "dump valve" sound is just as likely to be just the charger-recirculation pipe has been vented to outside, when you take your foot off the on-pedal, all the built up pressure normally goes back through the charger silently, but some like to take it off so it makes this noise mainly.... If its pre-pressureised air that been cooled on the way through I'd be keeping the "spare air" because it should be cooler, ie denser....
