@fraroc Cuz unfortunately things like Beavis & Butthead and Metallica gave Winger a bad rep back in the day...but I'm willing to bet Winger could outplay those sellouts any day, and Mike Judge lost my respect years ago for making that cartoon diss them. They sorely underestimated Winger.

I first came across Winger in the late 1980's when I saw in Brazil a TV commercial ad about a Brazilian cigarette brand called "Hollywood", where the marketing agency used to air these great TV commercials, mixing sports with cigarettes. The original 80's TV commercial Ad video that was aired in Brazil had Winger - Miles Away song from the album "In The Heart Of The Young" playing in the background...those were great times, great memories.

Sad thing is that Winger was picked on in the 80's and were known as a "fag" band. Truth is, these guys are probably the most talented band in that era. They are still relevant and the song arrangements, melody, vocals, are amazing. Fucking Great Album. Winger, you out did yourselves....well done!
