If you have a friend or relative who has been asking "what's an Arduino?" You can point them here. They'll get an overview of what it is and what's possible with it.

Apologies.small correction,The micro-controller is not the circuit board. The chip in the Arduino board i.e. the AVR is the microcontroller.

You're correct. We're so accustomed to calling the Arduino (and other boards) "microcontrollers" as short for "microcontroller platforms" that we let this semantic error slip. We appreciate the feedback and regret the error.

What if you have made an awesome project with the arduino and now want to mass-produce it ? You can't have the full arduino in every item O_o ?

You're right, but you could also pull the ATmega chip out of the board and put it into your own PCB if you'd like. Or you could prototype on the Arduino and when you're ready to make a product, port it over to any chip/circuit you'd like.

you can either manually copy data from the serial monitor to a text document make a program that monitors the serial monitor and saves the output to a file, use an sd card shield and save everything to an sd card and a whole lot more

nope as long as the code is already supplied then you should have no problem but the programming language is simple enough and it wouldnt hurt to know a little

Background music is sort of annoying and unnecessary.
