It's a bit weird to come out and say hey I have excess hair. I do and I was at sams club one day and I came over to my parents and was like can I buy this it was razors but it was for men. I had people looking at me like I was crazy. I have facial hair. my brother is jealous of my beard lol but I try my hardest to shave it and put make up on. I cut myself and people know what it's from and makes fun of me. I'm scared to have a boyfriend because I have it the worst on my buns. I have hair badly.

@basamente shes not lucky to have her husband.. that's actually a horrible way to think about it. Actually, I have PCOS too and have more than ist facial hair and I've had this for quiet some time and my current boyfriend and previous relationships as well as my male friend all acept it. I actually think more guy accept it more than you think. Adult men btw, not teenaged boys

Since you're living in Germany now I would seriously think about taking diane 35 or androcur. It has helped me so much and I can strongly recommend those medical pills.

Wow! You have a lot of courage and I admire you so much. I did grow facial hair as well since I suffer from pco syndrom. I am currently taking the minerva birth control pill (genericum of diane 35) and androcur 10 (antiandrogens) and I had 2 ipl treatments 16 months ago and my facial hair is completely gone!!! as well as my acne!! I am very happy with the result. I still grow body hear on my legs, stomach and breasts but it's a lot less than it used to be.
you're very vry lucky to have your husband. Most men can be complete and utter jerks when it comes to this. Sometimes you can't believe people can be that cruel.

@basamente back before I met my husband I was very embarrassed by the excess hair and didn't like anyone to touch my face- the guys that I dated would make a comment or other people would and it killed me I wanted nothing more than to hide under a rock! Not everyone is cruel, unfortunately you really have to dig deep to fine truly genuine people.

what did your husband say when he found out?
basamente 3 months ago
@basamente My husband always knew, he played along to make me feel better but one day he told me that he loved me for my PCOS- that I am the most caring, humble person, that having PCOS gives me an overwhelming advantage to "normal" women for it- I will still be the same beautiful person even when I wrinkle and my beard turn gray :P We have to learn 2 b comforable with ourselves b4 ne 1 else can be

You are gorgeous. Don't say that you are not. I also have to shave my face and its embarrasing. I don't have pcos (at least it has not been diagnosed yet) Its not fun

@taetwa I know I am pretty- I am self confident up the wazoo I know who I am. It was just the fact that my peers took my one 'flaw' something I was born with and made it into some horrible thing. When it's not-it sucks-lifes not over This made me a stronger& better person- I do not tease people over an affliction. I hate ignorance & I know many women w/ PCOS r not confident because all they face r ignorant mean people. I know my future family may have PCOS that motivates me 2 spread awareness
