In turbulent India of the Emergency in the 1970's , four friends on the threshold of their teenage years in a little Indian school, gather in they're beloved adda to deliberate the everyday's of school and life.
Little do they know, that by the end of this academic year, their lives will take a turn as they never expected it to. . .

It is for every person who has been to school, and loved and lost his love.
It is a story of love, of circumstance, of passion, friendship and freedom.

SHALA.. the book is total awesome creation... i've read dis book exactly 16 times.. each n evry sentence of the book has relevance wid our school life.. evryone must have felt d same thing.. joshya, shirodkar, ambabai,appa, kevda, surya, chitrya ani tyachi chalu molkarin.. sagli sagli patra jivant hotat pustak vachtana.. vachtavachta othavar hasu ani dolyat asu kadhi yetat tehi kalat nahi.. just awesome.. i know even movie will rock.. ALL THE BEST!!!
