@bamaangler83 I think Bill Jr was still in charge at the time but either way it should be brought back twice a year along with darlington and atlanta. I did hear that the track has a new owner and is supposed to be having a truck race next year.

B/c it's a great race to watch. The funny thing is Nascar used that excuse as to why they took a race away from Darlington and both races from Rockingham was that "they weren't selling out" Now look what's happening now with the economy Nascar is lucky if they can even sell out one race on their schedule they can't use that excuse anymore. It's a shame they take away a great race track b/c it was only 10 thousand short of selling out...i mean think about...it's not right

I've been there, its in the middle of nowhere, plus two cars flipped in this race.
