@Thatoneguy833 There were such cases, but isolated. If I refer to SS Viking, then they also had to be nazi, but the wehrmacht didn't have to be. Still, the hate against others, based on various reasons, or simply the personal gain, would have added to the german numbers. Only if such a propaganda campaign would have started as early as 1940.

@nyctasiaselesq They could have, and i think they may have tried to, but im not sure if occupied nation soldiers would have fought all that hard. I mean, polish and french soldiers fighting for there oppression? Too me that doesn't seem probable, but maybe.
