@EVSjahms Christ was not teaching this, (other sheep). Other sheep did not refer to Gentiles. He simply was referring to the fact that he had commandments to visit each of those tribes, according to the promise of the Father. Christ never appeared to the gentiles until the restoration of his precepts. Christ was sent only to the House of Israel in person. The other sheep he spoke of were the remnants of Jacob. Gen. 49:28
@EVSjahms There is no one alive in the last 2000 years to claim eyewitness accounts. To suppose that only the written record you put all your belief in is all there is, or was, seems partial to me. God was not partial. That is not to say that any book released claiming such, is.
@EVSjahms The twelve tribes I refer to are spoken of in Genesis 49;28 (son's of Jacob). The records (sticks or books) I believe in are mentioned by the Prophet Ezekiel in the 37th. chapter. Judah & Joseph, (The Holy Bible and the Book of Morman). Christ mentioned his visit to "others". To Judah about Joseph, and to Joseph about still others. God promised to preserve a remnant of each of those twelve Tribes. We know of two. At some point we will know of the other 10, and they of each other.
@EVSjahms do the lines "Other sheep I have that are not of this fold. Them also I must visit. So there will be one fold and one shepherd" mean anything to you? Probably not.

@amaxamon The events of the Book of Mormon, and Gods dealings with the Tribe of Joseph here took place across South, Central, and North America.

@EVSjahms The "other sheep", however do not represent the gentiles. That is an erroneous assumption.

@travis2209 That's about as accurate as Muslims claiming the coming "Counselor" proves the Bible foretold Muhammed. Let's look at it accurately:
- It's not "Them I... visit" it's "Them I... bring"
- He was teaching this at a certain location, another fold can simply mean another location
- By the context of the New Testament "other sheep" may represent Gentiles
- By greater extention, all believers make up his sheepfold and "hear his voice" yet he doesn't appear physically to them all

@travis2209 I sure hope you're joking. If not, you need to explain all those LDS official videos pushing Meso America as the location.

@amaxamon "No official position"? Of course we believe it is North America. Where in North America? That is where there is no position. Idiot.
