It's the 100th anniversary of the West Penn Railways Glencoe Viaduct, one of two rare concrete trolley bridges built by the West Penn Railways in 1908. The other is shown in another You Tube dealing with Allison and Brownville. Travel a short route off PA 166 north of Republic , see some streetcar right of way on your way to see a true historical Gem. The West Penn Railways stopped running in 1952, but there are remnants everywhere if you know where to look!! Visit www.stuffthatsgone.com for stills and more information on the Glencoe Viaduct!! Happy 100th Birthday!

Just a quick point of correction... the road doesn't curve to the left and then to the right to align itself with the right of way; it crossed the trolley tracks at that point. You can tell by the angle the right of way comes in at that it wouldn't have swung that sharply to align with the current road.
