Great conversation with Rich Lowry, author, syndicated columnist and editor of National Review, the leading conservative magazine founded in 1955 by the late William F. Buckley Jr. Lowry talks about the magazine, the recent political season (including Barack Obama, John McCain, and Sarah Palin), the conservative response to the global economic crisis and the serious challenges the Republican Party faces in the years ahead

  • great interview but cutting to the host for his reactions is really not standard practice, and is so very distracting. otherwise i really enjoyed this interview, and the questions were well-formulated.

  • I liked how he said, she was just the Vice President elect at the end of the day Ahuh Ahuh Ahuh goofy. As if that position isn't that important. We can't have people like Sara Palin next in line for president. We can't have fundamentalist Christians with their wacky beleifs anywhere in a position of authority. My American dream is off course and lost in a sea of ignorance. If I ever go back to America it will be out of desperation. I'm waiting and hoping for everything to fall appart over there.

  • You can't fix a party by placing blame, you need to introduce new ideas that work. I am not hearing any from Mr. Lowry...
