About Rasa Vitalia's "Global Movement Experience: United We Dance."

Rasa's Global Movement Show called " United We Dance," is inspired by my passion to uplift lives through dance and music by reminding us to maintain peace and unity with friends across the globe. The beautiful blending of funk, rock, club and world dance forms as well as the futuristic silver astro costuming design is inspired by our universe- The space and air that we ALL share. My show is designed to bring awareness of oneness on our fragile planet and the vastness of space, to protect and preserve the earth, and project a positive energy towards celebration of life. I am looking to perform around the globe with this mission in mind.

The inspiration for the radio broadcast is that as I meditate, I connect to all that shapes our planet. I arrive... I open my eyes to the activity on earth- both positive and negative- on our planet. It is a reminder that we all, human, plant, planet, and animal, share the same space together.

The inspiration for the 1st segment with veil is the spinning, rotation, and creation of the universe. It reminds of me the rings of Saturn, the spinning of the planets on their axis, the energetic life of stars, planets, moons, comets, the blanket of space and the unveiling of creation.

The inspiration for the 2nd segment with the finger cymbals is based on the fact that we are all interconnected and we all share and create in the rhythms of the universe. The sword is about the balance of creation and destruction- the very basis of life itself. We must never forget the powers of the universe and take a stand for peace. How do we keep things in balance?

The inspiration for the last segment is to celebrate the life we all share on the planet- using many different elements of world music across the globe. We are all stars and United We Dance! The message is to remember to take care and celebrate ourselves and each other, the planet, and all life on earth. In a world that offers little stability, it is a comforting to know that through careful and positive thought, intentions, and action (in one word: "love") we will find and maintain peace. We must never forget!

As a true creative artist who has a solid understanding of traditional and modern forms of dance, I aim to create truly unique art, bridge gaps, and connect with all through music and dance.
