I have to concur with skettcharmstrong, Gina2NYC seems to lack basic reasoning skills. How is talking to the people directly going around the reporters? LOL Reporters will give their 2 cents on the address anyway, but you can now go and see what Obama said directly w/o relying on 2nd hand sometimes distorting or out of context reports. You act as if the media had to censor his words first before you are allowed to hear it.

  • subliminaly....

  • He's going to use these tools to spew propaganda directly into your ears.

  • why cant i see the video

ANYONE UP? I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO 29

  • how long before foreign capitalist look to us for cheap labor, spending is exactly wha we need now but we need the right kind not spending of money we dont have (thanks Citi)if we wish to reamin an econmic super power then we must understand that without our consumerism we vessel in which a global economy will exploit. read some marx thats capitalism for ya.

  • your refering to consumers who have little to no capital to consume, basic needs are being filled right now and is based on the economy coming to furition (spelling). without the buying power of our country we might as well be tiawan making cheap shit for america. im a fan of raising taxes to balance out the business playing feild innovation isnt rewarded in the current system its only over shadowed by big cooperations that essentially monopilized markets, distrubution HAS TO BE A FACTOR TO

  • The top earners have been paying more income taxes all along. I think that is fair, but I think there should be a cap of 50%. I think the billionaires need to be taken to task for tax-dodging.

What really bugs me is that Obama still wants to raise the capital gains tax. If he announced Monday that he wouldn't do this, I believe buying in the market would resume. Consumers feel better if they don't fear paying a higher tax. If your stock value rises you pay a tax on that amount,

    cap gains

  • We still have a first amendment so you are are free to say that and I am free to say that you secular progressives have it all wrong. I am first of all a fiscal conservative, which neither of the Bushes have been. Palin is, that is I believe what we need most at this time, lower spending, not more spending, more government programs, more bailouts. Enough with the attacks. I'll put my brain against yours any day, genius. I love my country and I don't want the far left taking charge.

  • Anyone who actually wants idiot Palin on a ticket and thinks Bush was a good President obviously doesn't have to much going on upstairs.

  • hes making alot of sense innovating the way we mobilize our econmy is just what we need go ahead and bitch and moan but id rather have new busineses with the opportunity to grow then have business who are built on imaginary wealth. jobs will be lost but at the end of the day jobs will be created real jobs not jobs created on money that doesnt exist, we went through a good time where unemployment was not an issue but it was a false hood really it was the time we passed all our money to the welthy
