2007 Chrysler Sebring pink gear shift lock

Took about an hour to figure out why it wouldn't shift out of park. The pink gear part costs about $140, but with a wire tie and some wire, you can wrap it around the cable as long as you can find the spring that came off.

Thank you so much for the video. I managed to pop off the chrome rim (used a flat head s.d. Very easy) and moved the pink part located on the drivers side of the shift stick back at the same time I shifted to D and it worked! Now question is I won't be able to get it fixed until 4 days from today, how safe is it to drive the car using this method?
