LOL, you're right. Sorry, Turkey!

"I'm pretty sure the United States are on a par with friggin' TURKEY"
That's not accurate. Apologize to Turkey.
Turks are fairly progressive and scientific in their thoughts. It's actually illegal to wear a burqa in 99.9% Muslim Turkey. That's a testament to social progressivism.

Search up "David Shuster vs John Zeigler".
Videos such as these have been invaded by right wing Palin jack-offs who somehow think Zeigler won these arguments.
Essentially, Zeigler attacks MSNBC in every answer OR references a documentary he made without actually giving the answer OR just tries to back off from calling his Republican play-pals "liars" or "wrong" and he considers the "media assassination" of Palin one of the greatest social injustices in American history.
WOW!!! What a frigging

If you look at the statistics regarding the numbers of people in other countries who believe in young-earth creationism, I'm pretty sure the United States are on a par with friggin' TURKEY, I kid you not. Be proud, America!

I love it! I love the taunt! Very WELL DONE! Mormons are bat shit insane! A classic line for the ages! Thanks!

Spot on... spot on...

Thanks, I was just scrolling down to correct him on that.
Another small example of how education is so critically important. Even someone who understands how we date the earth can get these things wrong.

I know they have cooky ideas. That's why I put them in the same category as Scientologists. But that doesn't negate the fact that every one I've met thus far has been a really cool person. There church has changed some recently and not all Mormons believe in what you've said but they still don't believe in anything remotely accurate.

You get the idea.
I think that the term "only in America" has become somewhat cliché, but in this case, it might be true. If you add "and the rest of the under developed world" to that statement, since it is probably true for most fundamentalist states as well.
But come on, 6000 years old? Do you have the scientific understanding of a toddler? In Europe, such people would be ridiculed out of office.
