Scientists at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration say the ice covering the Arctic Ocean is thinner than ever. Researchers with NASA and the National Snow and Ice Data Center in Colorado report that recently formed sea ice, which is more vulnerable to seasonal melt, now composes 90 percent of the Arctic ice cover. As VOA's Catherine Cannon reports, scientists say this could lead to more global warming.
