My family and I drove to King City Missouri to see Missouri's largest wind farm, Bluegrass Ridge. More information can be found here: http://www.windcapitalgroup.com/

  • How many acres is this wind farm? how many turbines are there and what size r they I am trying to do some studies here we r wanting to put a wind farm up

  • How many acres of land do u have to have to put up say ten wind turbines and how far apart do they have to be.

  • I was on that JOB, for Local 101 Operating Engineers. I was The Crane Operator that Tailed Everything. And yes CDWIGGI they had to change out the Blades For Cracking and all the Bullit holes that were everywhere!

  • The Blue Grass project was shut down from anywhere between 6 and 18 months because the blades had a serious design flaw, they where buckling. On this film you see the Suzlon S82 which is a 1MW machine and has some great features as well as some poor features.

  • some times they are stoped for mait reasons average wind speed for a vestes is about 8 mph

    to turn

  • I know :-)

  • Wind varies from day to day like anywhere else. There'll be plenty of days when those props will be spinning like mad.

  • Not much wind there!
