We've decided to switch to Web Mail Notifier, it's an add on for Fire Fox--makes mail checking really simple without installing a client.

What is that little lock beside your top e-mail account, the gmail one? Is it a privacy thing? If it is can you tell me how to activate it? We use multiple accounts in my house and I would like to lock them if it's possible. Thanks.

That might be a setting on the gmail server settings that you control on their site and not the email client itself, I'll have to look into hat latter though.
