Almost 2am so I'm not being very exact or even articulate but I wanted to show how this works well.
Mac will be full 64bit very shortly, but lots of the routines are already optimized for it. Relaunching the Finder often saves the from crashing or hardware reboot. Anyway, get the most out of what you have, is the best strategy

  • Hey, Alonzo,

What screen capture program are you using?

    Regards,

    Sam.

  • Hey Sam. Cool ain't? Snapz Pro. Been trying to get this sort of thing working for me sometime now. I bought MacCapture but this one seem to be the real deal. :)

  • Hey, Alonzo,

How much RAM do you run on your Mac Pro?

  • Hey Vern, Only 3 gig but you would still be able to open as many apps as you need with the "straight out of the box" setup. It's the way the system manages the RAM. Of course, I want more physical RAM anyhow. ..maybe 8 gb.
