2007 was no exception, and this is but a small portion of the wild and wackiness which is held by the Portland Cacophony Society. Portland's weirdness is in full display in these clips and photos as approximately 1000 Santas, Reindeer elves and other mutants move through buildings and sidewalks, some doing cartwheels and hand stands.There was even a fruitcake launch using a trebuchet,(which was not working correctly and managed to only toss the fruitcake straight up 6') The Santa tug of war was much fun. Santacon is held in various cities across the globe. Portland's version starts at noon with a rally and ends in usually a strip bar which in this case was the Paris Theater, but don't look for any photos here :)!!
