A video tour of Lefkas in the Ionian Islands of Greece

The island of Lefkas as actually joined to the west coast of mainland Greece by a causeway. Flanked by its impressive crusader castles, Lefkas town is has a bustling centre and busy marina. The island of Scorpios (gifted to the Onasis family) can be seen from the main tourist centre of Nidri, which has a busy single beach and a recently constructed marina, which is home to the various yacht flotillas which are based here. The west side of the island has the best beaches and the video finishes at the famous beach of Porto Katsiki, towards the southern tip of the island.
