Let the words and wisdom of Moms Mabley reach deep into the souls of all of us and bring out the truth that humanity is the legs and the thighs of God's Great Chicken. She spoke in terms of race because of the racism of the day, which was massive. All God's children.

I was a child when she revealed the truth that the adults were lying to the children. Turns out she was right. They are still lying to the children. I pray that stops soon.

GOD BLESS MOMS MABLEY WHEREVER SHE IS IN THE UNIVERSE.

This is to me the best darn scene in the WHOLE movie; Moms is making this speech for these young folks to support this mayor and hon, it's the delivery. Sadly, Moms died not long after this. and you got more folks out there that don't know squat on this lady but if you want to know, LOOK HER UP! then get a copy of this movie like I did and fall out like I do from time to time. be blessed.

I sure remember Mrs. Jackie Mom's Mabley. I use to sit and listen to Mom's on TV. My mom did let us see and listen to her only when she was present. Those were the days. Mom's was the light of the darkest day. If you were sad or just down, she brighten up your day.

When I was a kid, I remember my parents listening to Mom's Mabley. And I remember the pop and crack of the vinyl. And her telling the story of when she was soooooo sad, and she put the gun right below her left breast, and pulling the trigger. And blowin' her left kneecap off. And I realized then that, there is comedy.
