Other Beatles related movie, focused on the band's world-wide famous leader: John Winston Lennon. A really touching film that shows all the troubles and experienced he had at school and inside his own family and what induced him to do things that not only changed his own life but also the world.
A well done film, good actors and a wonderful look into John's life, almost an obligated film for any Beatles fan.

Nowhere Boy is alot more accurate in the much finer details. Things that real Beatle nerds would notice. Sure, they changed a few things slightly to make it more of a film than a story, but it displays John's childhood much better than this film. Not saying this isn't a good film, but Nowhere Boy IMO is way better. It's alot more realistic, accurate, and authentic.

I'm cringing right now. There's so many movies about John Lennon and The Beatles, but Nowhere Boy is by far the best. Because unlike the guy in this movie and in so many others, Aaron Johnson gets the accent down and his humor and sensitivity without it look like he's actually trying, which is what good acting is. All these 'John Lennons' like the one in this, try too hard and just suck at acting. I just want someone like Martin Scorsese to make an Oscar-winning Beatles movie.
