A danish Nordtank wind turbine suffers a brake failure ( which are manufactured by Vestas ), and collapses near Hornslet, Denmark, very cool footage,

  • @CallumN02 well, in terms of cutting, you are right, it didnt cut the tower.. on the other hand, the wing did cripple the tower, as it cut into it.. feel free to express it in any other way you want, but the tower still went down ;-)

  • @CallumN02 A windmill is build in 2 pieces. One lower part (the ground constrution), and the uper part (windmill part). If you look you can see one of the wings bow the uper part so it falls from the lower section.

  • @Lufttygger the "wings" didnt cut it. the force from the blade hitting the tower caused the lower joint to fail.

  • @Sumtimreh It was a brake failure that initially caused the accident, but indeed, 1 of the 3 wings did cut the tower in half
