Swinging Blue Jeans - Hippy hippy shake 2008

(Released 1964)

One, two, three
For goodness sake
I got the hippy hippy shake
Yeah, I've got to shake
I got the hippy hippy shake

I can't sit still
With the hippy hippy shake
Oooh I get my fill now
With the hippy hippy shake
Yeah it's in the back,
the hippy hippy shake

Well now you shake it to the left
you shake it to the right
You do the hippy shake shake
With all of your might

Yeah baby, come on shake
Yeah it's in the back,
oooh the hippy hippy shake - Woa

(Instrumental)

Shake it to the left
Shake it to the right
do the hippy shake shake
With all of your might

Oh baby, ooh you got a shake
Oh it's in the back,
Oh the hippy hippy shake
Oh the hippy hippy shake
Oh the hippy hippy shake

  • Don't know just what the audience was hearing, but the audio here is the original studio recording from the early sixties.

  • Fucking tune

  • lip syncing at its worst...

  • @TheComedyChannelUK

This is playback, but it does sound great.

Ray Ennis on lead vocal is the only person on the recording along with the late Les Braid and the late

Colin Manley and Ian McGee on drums.

On this TV Show it´s Ray with Phil Thompson on drums Jim Rodford on Bass,Alan Lovell on guitar.

    All the best

    Chimbo
