e-Cigarette Atomizer In-Place Clean Using H2O2

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in-place e-cig atomizer cleaning.

Quick(ish), easy, effective, cheap & safe method.

Super heated H202 cleans the carbon off the atomizer coil/wick,
and removes that nasty burnt taste,
also de-colourises & freshens the metal wicking material.

Dont forget to flush with water (before & after) & dry it out a bit, then re-use as normal.

Used a 3.5 v 1200mA DC power supply from Argos : £10 catalogue item 982/9701.
30vol (9%) H2O2 from Boots the Chemists : 90p for 200 ml (sold as a skin disinfectant & mouthwash).

Particularly note the puff of smoke/vapour at around 2min into the video, I think this
possibly indicates the extra 'burn-off' of material compared to just heating the coil with no H2O2.

Repeat a few times for best effect.

@loki079 : that sounds more like the taste of the 'wetting' agent used for attys,

quite a well looked-at subject, i.e. best to simple rinse-clean that out before using them.

If the taste is after using H2O2, then I'd say clean again & rinse a bit more before using.

Why use an external power supply and not just the battery that came with it?

@adracamas : at the time this was done there were very few 'sealed' manual-button ecig batts,

so there was a chance of getting H2O2 into the batt.

& you don't want to inhale this (i.e. suction operated battery).

Now most (?) are sealed & quite a lot are manual, so probably a lot easier to use for this.

eCigs should be endorsed at a governmental level. They are shockingly effective.

Geez wish i could find a trustworthy site to buy my vaping gear from. My first purchase had one dead atty, the second purchase I bought two different 30 ml bottles of tobacco flavor e-juice that are exactly the same. My third purchase Same thing happend two bad att'y's and one died 6 days later. Three different sites that burned me wyf.

@tsarevna212 I just bought mine from DealExtreme. Their shipping is completely free of charge, and the product prices are awesome. They have e-cigs all the way from 60 dollars to 7 dollars. Believe it or not, the one that costs 7 dollars is awesome. Good quality etc. But that is an e-cig you may wanna buy as your first one. After a few months of using I suggest you buy one around 40-80 dollars. Though it sounds expensive it'll come much cheaper than smoking real cigs ;)

Excellent video. I did clean my Atomizer. I had to be extra careful after I read most of the comments. I used a power adapter with a switch. I switched the power on and off, and dripped H2O2 slowly. Then I watch it boil. Thanks for sharing.

@CriticalBlackMassHys That was an absolutely beautiful reply to a pretty angry and ridiculous comment. This worked like hell in a handbasket for me, so I have no complaints. Loved it and I will be doing it again when my attys need cleaning.
