@Shadowzaba who cares?

That's because The Faceless play with sixes. What would be the point of using the other two strings if they're not needed, eh?

@quique360 well yeah, faceless only uses 6 strings, but I agree with some after the burial covers :D

@brandonthuck as well as having the low F# or high A (depending on tuning) extended range guitars tend to have more resonance because of the lower strings not so much when palm muting of course but alot of jazz players use them and when fretting chords or letting certain string ring the lower strings vibrate and give more resonance to the intrument

The text in your description shows more emotion than you do... Cheer up, Sonny! You did an awesome cover! :D lol

Your soulless expression will haunt my dreams for many years, but good job!

hey dude you should check out kapral18's cover, he tapped the fast part in the intro solo, i watched it and learned to do it that way, its alot easier and cleaner.
goodjob though =P

@brandonthuck you don't need an 8 string, he's only using 6, I play a 6 string guitar for this song in drop C
can anyone tell me what the extra string on the 8 strings are good for i know how to play a 7 in drop tuneing but i dont get the 8

having an eight string allows you to have the low end (f# while still allowing you too keep your e). A lot of people also use the 8 string as a 7 string tuning with an added high A.
