God wants you to listen to the voice in your head....because that voice is your god...who only lives in your head....and this voice tells you what to do...
continued...I feel he is in the wrong, by trying to hinder me from sharing my testimony and my avenue which lead me to faith. I feel lead to do this, and he won't let me do this in our church or community and honestly, I feel like he is ashamed and wants to sweep my past under the rug, so to make a long story short...Do you think I'm wrong to have a Facebook/YouTube to share my faith without my husband knowing exactly that I'm sharing what he acts like is "Forbidden Knowledge"? I know my heart
Hey there. I am a Christian, my husband is too. Here is the problem I have and it has made me feel guilty, and don't know what God wants me to do. I have a wonderful testimony. I survived my 1st husband's suicide, & then getting severly beaten by another ex who is now in jail and I've had 4 surgeries...anyway, I came to Christ. My husband doesn't like me talking about my past or sharing my testimony, but I feel led to do it, so I have a Facebook & I keep what I do from him, I feel he is in
If someone is blaming Facebook for their cheating (Or other marital problems), that's just an excuse like any other. If someone is married, and going to cheat, they won't NEED Facebook or even the Internet to do so, as history has shown. I personally don't like Facebook because it doesn't take very long for it to turn into a mailbox filling annoyance, but to blame it for marital problems is outright laughable.
Aint love meant to conquer all? Therefore temptation should always be there and if the marriage really is as strong as the couple has vowed, then this temptation should not be an issue at all.
Was this not meant to be the point of the bible story of God putting the apple there? To leave the choice up to the individual. Fight and resist temptation, dont try and block it out.
Also, if people want to cheat, they will do it, facebook myspace the internet in general whatever. if they dont have the internetk they will sneak of to the bar to meet someone, Gonna tell people to stay away from bars after that? Howbout we just bar our spouses from ever leaving the house? People make the choice, its no one elses fault, if a person is worried about being tempted, recognize that and resolve that situation dont blame the interface.
jf by your logic we should blame christianity for the crusades. blame christianity for anything people do thats evil that claim their faith was why they did it. I dont even believe that and im an atheist. Religion is a tool people can twist to justify their actions. Facebook is just a tool people used, it didnt cause them to do anything.
and i dont friggin know, facebook is just a place i have friends, i dont go there to pick up chicks.
@Plagueis1017 I wonder how much money ANY organization run on donations makes in the process of helping others.
