On December 29, 1980, Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum and
Colby Landrum took a drive that would soon become a
life-changing nightmare. At approximately 9PM, driving
through the Piney Woods of Texas, they observed a huge
diamond-shaped object flying low above the isolated road,
expelling flame and emitting significant heat. That night,
all three experienced horrible physical symptoms--nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, and burning sensations all
over their bodies. Betty Cash's symptoms soon worsened,
and a few days later, she was sent to the emergency room,
unable to walk, and losing large patches of skin and clumps
of hair. The team re-opens this and other famous cases of
alleged "alien effects" to determine if UFOs are leaving
behind more than just sightings.

  • You gotta love Colbys reaction as he coughed and probably said "bullshit" under that cough when the Colonel said he had no idea why he wrote 100 landed helicopters. Usually if you write 100 of any item, that means there were a lot of them no matter what the count was. He went from confident answers to back peddling pretty fast. Oops!

  • .......and Col Sarran was tasked with investigating the helicopters only - -not the incident itself - - - - there was no proof there were helicopters - no record of it - - - that doesn't mean there wasn't - - just there was no record of it - - and he was the one who had to investigate it afterwards - - the interview you see here occurred in 2008 and the incident and investigation was 28 years ago.....you wouldn't remember either.

  • The characterization that Mr. (Former Colonel) Sarran was lying is quite incorrect - - you have to know Mr. Sarran as I do and have for six (6) years - - he literally (even after retirement and becoming a businessman) writes down notes copiously. As soon as we saw this episode we knew someone had mentioned "100 helicopters" and he had merely wrote it down...........if they had shown all the notes instead of just that line you would have probably seen more info - - this man doesn't lie.

  • when the military says "no" 8:08 ,he moves his head downward which indicates that he's lying
