That about covers it. This is almost too easy to build. and cheap. I saw one where the holes in the pillar blocks were drilled out a little small. and the rotor shaft was heated up, and the hole was burned out to size by the shaft. This makes a great custom carbon bearing.
your sync would be a night mare and you'd get surging in the circuit / drive if it worked at all. most likely it'd turn once then stop some where because the magetic force squeezed the wires just-so to bend the field so it wouldn't rotate.
The magnetic flux induction would be very weak becaue it wouldn't complete the circuit well enough for the ..err.. roundess of the field to unblemish teh fact that these aren't perfectly concentric rings...2 loops minimum or there's not going to me much in the way of efficiency. The coils should be TIGHT or you get massive vibrational losses. Induction is Messy in the volume dimensions where you'd get away with more if it was, say capacitance which has fixed distances by manufacturing process.
Obrigado pela sua boa-vontade !!!! Tanks a lot for your time doing this, is very helpfull !!!! Sorry for my vocabulary !

I can see the coils are different colors. Is there a reason for that?

It will be the same. But the way he did in the video is easier and faster and you are not going to miss the number of turns.
