  • Does anyone happen to know the song the kids are dancing to at the very beginning of the video? It was really cool.

  • This is so amazing. I might cry.

  • This is just so wierd - Lock up your children,- the Cramps are coming!

  • That's really cool. When I used to babysit my Godchild and her Brother(Then aged 2 and 8.) , their favorites were The Ramones , but the older of the two loved The Cramps' version of "I Can't Hardly Stand it". I'd sing the lead , and he'd go "Uh - huh - uh - huh - uh huh!"to the guitar part....

  • @pfordsq

just find that info on the web..

Show #41 Alphabet Special w/ the CRAMPS & FRONTIER (First Aired 1/6/98)

  • @bennyzin i know! lmao!

  • I love about people like Miriam and Lux is that even while they get some sort of fame themselves (less so Miriam here) they are big fans of other bands... it seems more honest and humble than bands who think they're the absolute best. Miriam's a mad fan of the Flamin' Groovies.

Send the urls please, that would be great! Cheers

  • @MmeLEnfer Yeah, even if Linna hadn't been a protocramp she'd be one of few truly interesting people.I read that interview with her mostly dealing with her archives of pulp fiction books. There are several very thorough Gun Club sites. If you don't have em I can send the URLS.I wanna get that Ghost On The Highway flick when I get the money.

  • Miriam was amazing. She said she met Lux and Ivy somewhere around and then they asked her to join a band, wanting her mainly because she had never played before at all. She said Lux bought her some sticks and handed them to her, declaring her the "World's greatest drummer!"

My friend will be glad to hear that. We met as avid Cramps fiends and I've been exploring the Gun Club under her guidance... JLP is a truly brilliant lyricist, one of the greats.

  • Ah,the early drummer with a book collection to rival the National Archives? I've loved the Gun Club since the early 80's.They managed to keep me enthralled throughout their entire existence-from the blitzspeed Fire Of Love to their mellower later stuff.
