Great Strategy. How about two enabling Tactics: (1) Debt Limit additions will be only be voted on if the Congressional Budget Office certifies that the Administration has achieved an ACTUAL Spending Cut for the Current Fiscal Year through the prior month, and (2) Any Debt Limit addition must be matched by a reduction in the Budget for the Current and Following Fiscal Years.

Do you mean Social Security recipients may actually get some of their own money? The only ones who pay their way. Cut Federal Hierarchy wages and benefits

Thanks Dick! Please give your opinion on Rick Perry...maybe in your Twitter feed during the debate? Great job on the videos.

You are right about this. But why do we in the end have to raise the debt ceiling? I say that the debt ceiling stays where it is and that we cut spending back by 1.7 trillion dollars. Than we do not need to raise spending. Sweep away agencies that seal out Liberty like the EPA. Without agencies like that we-the-people would have more Freedom for it and our debt would be under control.

I hope the House Republicans are listening/watching your videos and use a simple, but sensible approach to tie the debt limit with spending cuts. Obama himself has never taken ECON 101. Thus, you cannot expect us mortal to understand your prescription for the Democrats to rein in the only thing they know how to do: SPEND OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.
This seems like a good plan. Hope someone listens.

Dems already used soldiers' salaries and soc. security to make republicans cut the budget deal. Why would they act differently now? Obama is a very bad democratic leader but he is really good in mafia style of ruling: blackmailing and using hostages are usual ways for him and his army of unions' mobs make things done.
Unless he will feel that he is going to lose in 2012 there is no reason for him to change. And ladies fights of Bachman vs Palin are a huge help for Obama's re-election.
