Some worry about Eric 'having' bad storylines compared to Bill!
But seriously look how well he playes it all!
He can do everything with a touch/twist that just makes us love/want him more! Throw Sookie in chains, be with men or be more cute (unsexy realy) than a teddybear ... and still look like The ultimate hot Man of our fantasies!
If his storylines had been 'more nice' I'm not sure I could take it anyway, I'm stunned as it is, that he apparently is even 'better' in the books!
But I knew it!

About Bill raping Sookie in the books, being 'better' on the show!!
It might have looked interesting to see Bill a 'bit' more in the primal sex department than kissing Sookies forehead, he did that a lot! It's a rape and that translate real bad into TV, but in the spirit of TB it just might have been bended enough to be terrible ... but also positive 'primal'!
I'm terrible ... I know, but the 'rape thing' is the ultimate 'I hate that I like just a little bit about it', if it really is NOT real!
