@EdTheBadass I am a music specialist AND a Middle-Eastern. You must belong to that type with the ears that simply aren't meant for this music. My music theory instructor was the same way. Perhaps it's the semitones, the musical mode, or the instruments, but your type dislikes this music. That's fine, but don't compare it to European (do you mean Romantic, Baroque, etc. or modern?) music when they are completely different.

I am not a music specialist, but THIS is pretty dull. (yes, there are some Arabian music that is good)

You msut admit though - Asians (well, Middle East and in some cases India)tend to just play everything they got at the same time. It sounds awful.

@TheBellydanceVideos If tis song was composed by Abdel Wahab, it is somewhat new. I've asked this, because there are some parts of melody that sound somewhat european. Ex: 2:33.
