The intro of ACE immediately rescues the decaying Dr Who continuum of the 1984-86 series, she gave meaning and energy to a younger audience as well as knocked Bonnie from her high pitched horsing. Even McCoy came more into his own character when ACE emerged and why the series had survived the way it had.
