Personally, I've used Logic Studio for close to a year (a LONG time ago) and then I tried FL Studio 8 (back when it was still new) and I've been using FL Studio ever since. I went to 9 and now I use FL10. I've tried Cubase...really, when you think about it, there's no difference - they all do the same thing. A saw wave is a saw wave, period. A plugin is a plugin, period. A 24-bit wav file is a 24-bit wav file. Period. It isn't the quality of the DAW that's being used, it's the skill of the user.

These might be new features for PT, but even the Kristal Audio Engine, a free to use abandon-ware DAW had volume control over lips, automatic delay compensation, and a host of other "features" back in 2004...
Pro Tools days are numbers, and they know it. And they now come out with a NEW plug in format...so now, since they can not lock you into buying there hardware, the will lock you into a propriety plug in format....
No thanks, nothing to see here! LOL

I just bought the M-Audio Fast Track C400 audio interface and it came with PT 9.0 M-Powered.
I was really thinking about purchasing Avid Eleven rack Guitar processor and recorder. It comes with PT 10.0 and about 100 preloaded guitarist pre-sets to use, I'm guess the Eleven Rack is a much better interface and better built too.

OMG they are so outdated. Logic 9 is still fastest one that gets the job done.

Thumbs up if you have problems running Pro Tools 9 on Lion OSX. That's one of the reasons Pro Tools 10 came out, sooo I'm getting this sh@#!

Cubase had 32 bit floating point in 1999. Sonar has had all these features since 2005.
