I recorded the Audio with a Zoom H4 (awesome device btw!) and then combined it with the video. The Camcorder's mic was simply too overpowered with the amps volume:)

Just bought a super reverb re issue i was wondering if you have a problem with the preamp tubes having a rattling noise or what kind of tubes you use. The person at guitar center told me that every tube will do this because they are next to the speakers but with people like SRV and jimmy herring using these non stop i cant see this being true.

Try different tubes. In general, its more common to hear rattle in combo amps, but not all tubes will rattle. I'd simply say experiment with different tubes until the rattle is gone.

have you ever done work on a silverface super? if so, is the sound similar to this?

Check out my other youtube clips. They all turn out about the same. This clip is a bit misleading since the method of recording wasn't a good representation of the amps real sound. The other clips are more accurate.

Love your tone man. Very SRVesque. I've been deciding between 60s twin or super, and I think I'm going for the super just so I can get it to break up easier without blowing my ears out. Any opinion on my situation? I do play live, but only bars at the moment.
