I'd do you, but i'd need some duct tape to stop you from speaking so much

I think you should open your own restaurant/music bar. "Shannon's, The home of good food and great music" :)
Peace buddy!

God I've missed these vids :) I think even I could probably make this and still enjoy the crap out of it. Ha. Well if I could somehow find myself a crockpot anyway.
Some good music here too. Really good to see you Shan. It's been forever.

Very fun! I like the idea of drinking loads when cooking with chilli - it sort of makes those 'whoops' moments seem less of a problem!
Great to see you again.

Finally another cooking video! Really love your music, but the cooking vids are awesome too. :)

Hi Flower, Dont go down the same road as Graham Kerr please. I was beginning to think you had deserted us. I dont eat seafood either but Ill have the fish. You owe me a mail from long ago. Really good to see your back (and front). It would be nice to be able to follow your musical progress but we are not all clever enough to Facebook andchat etc.

Looks good. Shame I can't eat seafood. Damn allergies. Gave me an idea for my Spanish Rice though.

Drinking whine - as usual. :D
It's really great to have you back, Shan. I always loved your videos. Especially your cooking (and drinking whien^^) videos.
I'm really looking forward seeing more like this from you.

The only thing that makes gumbo traditional is lots of roux. As long as its thick, dark and hearty, you can put anything you want in it. I should know. I live in louisiana and my mom is cajun. Lots of rednecks think okra is always a main ingredient when its not. Crawfish too :p

Haha guess I'm a redneck then. The first time I made this, I attempted to make a roux. But... it tasted the same without it the second and third time so I just skipped it. :)
