This is a short video clip from a Salsa Babies Dance Class for moms and Babies in the Edmonton area. Video by Walter Tychnowicz courtesy of the Edmonton Journal a Canwest Company
Do you mean that you now recommend mom-facing carries? If you indeed mean that forward facing is the latest guideline you are mistaken. This puts pressure on the babies spine as it can't be supported under its bum by the carrier. Also for young babies this position would be too stimulating. Babies actually really want to see their mama.
Please note this classes are held in Edmonton at Feel Good Fitness at 2920 Calgary Trail second floor.
While past baby carrying may have not had all the info please note that Salsa Babies, FITMOM and most companies follow the newest baby wearing guidelines recommending forward facing carries only!

Forward facing isn't really the best thing for babies' spines.....especially in stretchy wraps.
