  • I'd rather share a room with MR. Tilney. :P

  • I am very amused by how Elinor "helps out" Catherine by touching the correct silverware when she doesn't know which spoon to choose...so nice of Elinor

  • -Dear Miss Morland, how wonderful it is to see you. I hope you had a pleasant ride, and was your room to your liking? Lovely.

-BRING ME MY DINNER, YOU LAZY DOGS!

  • I like that at least Elinor and her brother are agreeable out of the family. Mr. Tilney he is yummy!! I say that he is #4 on my list of Austen men! God how nervous she has to be.

  • This novel is very different from Jane Austen's other work. In some places it's quite chilling and frightening.

  • The dinner scene made me chuckle. It reminds me of Emma trying to teach Harriet during supper in the 2009 BBC mini-series. Same sequence of expressions too. LOL

  • I bet that soup isn't half as delicious as Henry looks while he's eating it... *__*

  • there is something sketchy about this family there something that is just not right about them I have no idea what is though

  • It is kind of creepy

  • Did anyone else see 2:55 or was it just me?

  • @craftykid22 lol. No, not now but when I was a kid we traveled in "society" and we did. That's how I know. Our mother taught us. All silverware sets came with at least five/six place settings for each person. A salad fork, regular fork, butter knife(set on the bread plate) soup spoon, regular spoon and knife. And then placed just so on the table using your thumb for measurement. Water glass, wine glass, salt/pepper mini's, linen napkins, etc. Hard on the washing up and ironing!

  • @Songsmirth It's polite to slurp in Japan though
