Paul Gilbert playing classical guitar. This video is Paul's best shot at Flamenco guitar. The song name is "Flamingo". He named it as a joke for his supposed "inability" to play real Flamenco. Everyone knows Mr. Gilbert can play anything..

  • @m3ntalcollid3r I'm not sure if you have noticed but I wasn't talking about Paul Gilbert. And another thing to notice, this is my video.

  • use a pick to this style of music is really bad, but in the other hand is a great way to practice your picking

  • @KungFuMaster1972 he says as much in his intro idiot. Are you saying he is not allowed to have fun with his take on flamenco? If you are, then you should shut your trap, you stupid armchair critic.

  • Holy Cow Paul Gilbert---at least try to use your right hand fingers. Maybe just add the second RH finger if all three is too difficult. You make this scale and chord rambling piece far more difficult than it should be.

  • The artist is hinting he can play flamenco but what is ironic is he really can't. If that was truly his best attempt at flamenco, then he is correct - he can't play flamenco. His rhythm is there but his attack is weak and we know in order to play flamenco, your attack has to be fierce for the most part of any flamenco piece. There is virtually no juice in this performance. Flamenco is based on rhythm, dance, and Excitement. There was no excitement in this performance.

  • The melody is very similar to Serpend Dream of Mike Oldfield. I love bought songs. Brilliant.

  • Um...for not knowing how to play this genre of music, he fakes it pretty well. Guess it's due to his green-tinted 60's mind.

  • NOW STOP SAYING HE'S FAST BECAUSE HE'S USING A PICK...THAT IS ALL FINGER WORK! AND PASSION!

  • Buckethead!

  • uhhhhhh !
