Well right now the water is high and the fish are holding along the banks to stay out of the current. It is going to be tough with the amount of current rippin' through there right now, but you can use crankbaits and tubes in some areas with a lot of success. not sure exactly where you are, but there are some excellent spots along the Wrightsville area shoreline that you can catch them right now.

Not sure where cold cabin road is, but there is a dead end road that goes from the second boat launch at Long Level down to a bridge. Anywhere along this stretch can be good fishing at certain times of the year. The video was shot at the end of this road, but you would not be able to get out far enough from the shore to fish the spot we were at. You can use crankbaits, tubes and jerbaits (fall) with good success in this area. Tubes produce all year round. Summer is tough fishing there

We were at Long Lovel (Lake Clarke) just down a little ways from the boat ramps. We're hoping to get a couple days during the winter that we can video some more.
